About the BCWLC

Every woman who is a current member of the Liberal Party of Canada in BC (LPCBC) is automatically a member of the BC Women’s Liberal Commission (BCWLC).

Once a year we hold an Annual General Meeting where we elect the voting members of our executive.  We also appoint a BCWLC representative to each Electoral District Association (EDA). These representatives serve an important liaison role as they participate in the executive meetings of both the BCWLC and their respective EDA. We meet regularly throughout the year through voice/online connections.

Our Mission: To inspire, support, and increase the active participation of engaged women at every level of the Liberal Party of Canada.

Our Vision: A BCWLC that is inclusive and representative of its members and supporters at all levels, and that upholds the values of equity and fairness in all it does.

Our Committees include: Communications, Constitution, Fundraising, Membership, Operations, and Policy. If you support liberal values in Canada and want to see a change in the political landscape in Canada today, join the Liberal Party of Canada and help make a difference by getting involved with the BCWLC!
